We're moving in to our new house (horray!) and inevitably, home repair needs arise. Today as I walked into Lowes with a rusted out washing machine hose in hand, the appliances guy looked at me as though to say "How cute. Another husband gave his clueless wife a random part and sent her to the hardware store to ask for help replacing it. Don't worry, I 'll help you little lady." Truth be told, he was exactly right. I'm just another clueless housewife who doesn't know how to use a crescent wrench. Well, sort of. Long ago, I was fairly capable with simple home repair projects, and should the need arise I'm sure I could be again, but for this specific time in my life, I'm sort of happy to pass that off as "husband work" and focus on other needs of life. I'm sure I could figure out how to hook up a washing machine. I simply would rather stick that on John's plate. Does that make me a bad person?
