I got the same thing from someone else I know. It was meant as a joke.

The problem is that it's not funny. It's not funny at all.

A) This is a time where people are VERY sensitive to anything that looks like election fraud by anybody that's not a Democrat. People would be well-advised to avoid even the HINT of impropriety.

The media and online forums are already well-primed with the message that if the Democratic candidate wins, that's fair elections, but if the Republican candidate wins, that's election fraud. We don't need to be supporting that.

B) One should not presume to know who someone else plans to vote for. Great way to unknowingly offend somebody.

C) Elections are serious business. Really, there's NO circumstance where joking about disenfranchising a group of voters is even close to appropriate.
