Notes: written for scripps several months ago, and I'm finally getting around to posting it.

Still beautiful and I loved the shared moment between Pike and Jim, realising that they both miss George. Jim's anger at Starfleet is understandable but I'm glad he was inspired by George and love the idea of George not having regrets.

That moment was really the starting point for my writing this whole story, because they're connected by this whether they realize it or not. So I had to get them to talk to each other because that would give them some kind of closure, or at least a new starting place.
