Many Things

First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY zempasuchil
Let's start with music recs, shall we?
I'm a bit late to this party, but I absolutely love Vienna Teng, especially Antebellum and Cannonball
On a similar note, I really like Regina Spektor. Us is one of my favorites, and I also like The Call
Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat is so much fun!

For some reason I really want to read a poem about Jesus being dead in the tomb.

On a related note, I was in a play for Good Friday! It was experiential theater which meant that members of the congregation were led through the basement of the church and watched scenes from right after Jesus was killed. I got to see all the other parts during rehearsal but it was really good last night.
The best scene was at Jesus' tomb, where the people are taken to mourn, but Judas is there going BATSHIT INSANE and being bitter that Jesus failed him. Then Peter comes out and they yell at each other. It looked like they were actually going to come to blows and even though I know both of the actors, I was really scared of them. Then Judas gets really upset as it hits him that his best friend is dead. It was so well acted that I started crying
And afterwards they're led to the kitchen where the last supper was, and Mary and Martha feed them. I was one of the background characters in that scene and I gave them bread to eat. And then I lead them to the madman.

And now for a meme!
1) Make a list of fifteen characters first, and keep it to yourself for the moment.

2) Ask your f-list to post questions in the comments. For example: "One, nine, and fifteen are chosen by a prophecy to save the world from four. Do they succeed?", "Under what circumstances might five and fourteen fall in love?", "Which character on the list would you most want on your side in a zombie invasion?"

3) After your f-list has stopped asking questions, round them up and answer them using the fifteen characters you selected beforehand, then post them.

recs, awesome shit, meme, bible, poetry
