everything going through my head now

So I've survived the three most terrifying experiences of my life in three  days.
1) An interview with my TOK teacher about my most recent essay. Apparently I'm a good writer because she said something was "original". So I'm happy about that.

2) An individual oral commentary for Lit. There were twenty five passages I could have gotten, so I spent the entire weekend preparing for it and praying I wouldn't get anything by Orwell, because I just don't understand. Luckily it was a passage from Othello, which I did great on. I'm worried I went a bit short, but the teacher made sure I covered everything with the questions she asked me. But I'm so glad it's over, you have no idea.

3) An oral presentation for IB French, which I'm fairly certain I bombed. It was about The Phantom of the Opera, which I haven't read for a while, so I just pulled some stuff out of my butt and repeated myself over and over. I'm pretty sure i redeemed myself on the questions, though. *crosses fingers*

Other Stuff
1) I might go on a missionary program over the summer, with a week at a school of theology in Chicago, a week in Mexico and a week in various international communities around America. So yeah, I'm really excited!

2) I bought myself another magical realism book. I love love love magical realism, including One Hundred Years of Solitude and Midnight's Children. And I got a book about a woman who ends up in an insane asylum and is told she has five days to live.

3) I'm working on an art project combining Eastern Indian, Native American, and Norwegian mythology.

4) I have two Star Trek stories going on in my head. One about the long-lasting meaning of memory, and one about torture and deathless love.

Stuff I would love for other people to do
1) Fidel Castro tried out for the New York Yankees. Imagine how the world would be if he had gotten in?
2) A star trek story written in a magical realism elements/style.
3) recommend books with Death as a main character.
4) find a way for me to stop thinking of these crazy ideas. (I'm joking for this one)

awesome shit, star trek, aargh, what the hell brain?, real life, school stuff
