Well at least I know what I'm doing up this time

Forget everything I ever said about TOK being the coolest thing ever. It kills your brain by making your imagination work too hard on things you already thought you knew about. If I try to translate it into Narnia in this state of mind, Mr Tumnus will go out looking for the White Witch so she can turn him into stone because he is so overwhelmed by the cultural barriers that are broken when Lucy explains about the City of War Drobe from the Land of Spare Oom. I've been working on this freaking thing for about three and a half hours. Anthropology needs to go DIAF. Seriously.

I'm flattered and proud that my history teacher thinks we're capable of reading college level texts, but the truth is I'm even unable to read a short article debunking the Legend of Christopher Columbus. Okay, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration, but I imagine you understand the point that I'm tired.

And biology/physiology is fun but at the same time ugh, if you know what I mean. It takes to long to process data. I need to turn 360 separate measurements of centimeters into the time it took for the ruler to fall before the test subject caught it. And THEN there's standard deviation which I barely know how to do in the first place. And I still need to write a paragraph about what I did wrong with the experiment. Starting it in the first place, that's what I did wrong with it!

Forgive my momentary hatred of all things academia. It will pass me over once I've gotten some sleep. I hope.

narnia, tok, oh dear lord, aargh, real life
