vampires are totally the new pirates. there's the new hbo show true blood (which is highly habit-forming), and this teen thing twilight, which i know nothing about, except that the guy who played cedric diggory in harry potter is in it and he's cute.
my apartment and housemates are really wonderful. even if one of them has a completely codependent and unhealthy relationship with her boyfriend that results in him being constantly living with us even though he graduated two years ago.
i love the fall. even the vassar fall, when it rains for two weeks straight and you feel like you'll never be dry again. or that you should build an ark and start collecting the animals.
my dad was vacuuming the other day and found a secret stockpile of things my kitten had hidden away. most of them were little things that must be fun for her to bat around, like paper clips, but there was also a KNIFE. like, a kitchen knife. i think she's secretly plotting to kill us all in our sleep. she can't be trusted, clearly. her "cute and innocent" thing is obvious just an act.
i am tired.
