it's been a while
Things have been so busy with school that I just about forgot that I even had a Livejournal account. So here are some updates...
Tomorrow is my last official day of class at SpaTech. I won't actually receive my certificate until I've completed all of my clinic hours (the last day of which will be June 11th) but I'm so excited to finally be done. I can't believe it... I actually finished something for once in my life. And I did a damn good job of it. I'll have my license for the state of Maine no later than July (hopefully) and I'll start seeing clients asap. It's incredible to see my name followed by a title.... Elizabeth Lowell, LMT. Squeeeee!
Kyle graduates from A school on June 18th. I didn't think I was going to be able to go... I'm sort of kinda broke... but Kyle told me that he is going to pay my way out there. He and his family have been so incredibly generous to me. I still can't believe how lucky I got. I'm so thankful that I'll be able to share that day with him - he has worked sooo hard and I am sooooo proud of him.
He knows that he'll be going to C School in San Diego for Surgical Tech, but the question of "when" still hasn't been answered. We're all really hoping that he won't have to report there right away... he deserves and needs to come home for a bit. But we are talking about the military, here. Anything could happen.
I'll be moving to Saco probably on the 1st of June. I can't wait to be living with the Whitmores!
All in all, life is good. I still am happy with my decision to go back to school, and I still love Kyle in a way that I never thought I could love. I'm counting down the days to his graduation when I'll finally be able to hold him again!!! :)
