Let me just start with this: *sigh* I swear my luck centered around keeping small objects has diminished. Almost a year ago I lost my first flash (jump if you prefer) drive. I left it somewhere in my room and it was lost in the depths of the abyss. I never found it. A few weeks ago my next flash drive gets bent and is now useless. I buy another one and not two weeks later (yesterday) I leave it at the printing lab at school. From eye witness reports a girl took it and has yet to turn it in.
So... I'm getting behind in my projects for school and where it concerns my LJ account I haven't been able to make very new icons lately. I was coloring some Shin (from NANA) manga icons but unfortunately those are gone... :*(
Do I have to sacrifice some virgins so I can get me some luck?
On another note I finished the Twilight series. The first book in my opinion was the best of the four. Breaking Dawn is my personal second place. Is it just me or are the books a lot like reading manga with lots of text in the place of drawings? That's what it seemed like to me. Anyway the books were entertaining. Is it a really absolutely good piece of literature to be remembered as a classic throughout all time? Not really in my opinion. For me it will be remembered as a great piece of popular literature. I don't think that our children or even grandchildren will be studying them in school at any level. But that's just my humble literature-loving opinion.
