DAD
Hay There,
Because it is late for a phone call
I thought that I would post instead.
There is not much new on Dad.
The Dr. is hard to find and
they are still waiting for
blood work to return which will
tell about the clot.
They did say that they will do an
echo. tomorrow, not sure what
they will find with that but something.
He was up in the chair today and they
will have him walking around tomorrow.
He is off all IV's but they are still
having trouble with his sugar level.
He had a good night last night and I
expect a good one tonight.
As for being taken to Halifax,
that won't happen, at least right now.
He seems to be doing good but developed a
rash from one of the mds so he is ichie :(
I would love to be able to stop in and
see him for a few hrs. each day but, well
that can't happen with the distance and kids.
He can't have visitors due to being in ICU
and he dosen't have a lot of family around.
I left a picture of the kids and bought him a
bennie puppy "Tunnels" to keep him company.
Silly?? Maybe but that is what I do
when I visit a family member in the
hospital. I did it for Grammie (Kathy's mom)
and Grandma (Carl's mom) and they liked it and
found comfort in it when they needed to squeeze something
soft. It is a part of my family that is soft and fuzzy :)
I am hoping to maybe go up and see Pops
this weekend, maybe Sat. or Sun.
Depends on him and us and the kids.
But for sure on Sunday. I will keep
you dated on what is going on. These tests
seems to take awhile and they are busy in
the ICU, there are at least another 2 or 3
other heart attach patients there.
Off to bed, way to late.

read this tonight. Sorry for not
calling, too late for me, computer was on.
And there was not much to say that was different
from yesterday. Hopefully the Dr. will inform
what the deal is.
