Family

We had the all the family over for dinner after church today.
It was really nice, we each brought something for the meal
and it was great. I made the suggestion because Jon's
sister and bro-in-law, and his other brother's girlfriend
was visiting from Maine. Usually they would go to my inlaws
house and we would come home so...I made the suggestion
and it worked out great. They kids fare much better here and Ben
was able to nap and the kids were free to do their regular
things. If they were at Grammies it would be harder for them.
And I was able to relax and know what they were doing, just
easier on their own turff. I think this might be a new thing.
WE have the kids so they will come to us!! Works great for me :)

Now they are in bed and the olympics are on and I am going
to finish my book and tidy the house tomorrow.
I will say that we had a good weekend and hopefully a good
week. Although, it is Monday tomorrow and the kids are usually
hyper and get into trouble more on Monday than an other day
of the week. Oh well, part of being a parent.
