He's here! Despite all our concerns and doubts, Donny arrived safely all the way from Spain, immediately commandeered the sofa (and my lap!), and is sleeping peacefully! I'm so unbelievably happy right now. I never thought we would get another dog so soon after losing our beloved girls, but the minute we heard about poor Donny, I knew he was right for us ♥
