I have to tutor at 10:30 in the morning, so I get a little more sleep. However, I have no idea how good of a tutor I'll be. It's been 6 years since I took Algebra II, so I figure I'll be bumping my way through it.
It went about as well as it could, although I was worried when the first thing thrown at me was polynomials.
Thankfully though, she understood that side, and we went on to the Rational Root Theorem. I can't remember ever learning this theorem, but after studying it, I was able to help her through Steps 1&2, (she knew 3), and finding the real numbers in Step 4. (She's asking a friend tomorrow about how to find i.)
The atmosphere was pretty relaxed, so we also chit-chatted about fashion, Twilight (Neither of us read the books, and while I haven't seen the movie, I know enough about what is to come), plus the strange people who floated in her older sister's grade and the grade above. (Cape-wearing boy, plus a boy who talked about time traveling, cried when he lost a computer game, and beat up coke machines when they ate his change....)
So all in all, it was good. And I at least didn't feel completely clueless.
And twelve hours sleep is really appealing right now....

Yeah, I have to be at work at 8:30 in the morning, so I definitely won't be getting twelve hours tonight, or eight, lol.
