Butler's Honeycomb Crisp Milk Chocolate
I recall being very partial to honeycomb, the few times I had it growing up, so this was an obvious buy for me.
Where bought: Not sure? Probably World Market.
Aroma: Sharp, almost tangy; more like a bittersweet dark chocolate than a sweet-laced milk.
Texture: Firm, with tiny crispety bits. Melts nicely as it's chewed.
Taste: A stronger sour note than I would have expected from something composed of chocolate and honey. The chocolate is very creamy and smooth, but doesn't really distinguish itself. There isn't much distinct honey flavor at all; apart from a certain odd tang, the crispiness could almost be from puffed rice. Agreeable, but not amazing.
Overall: Not unpleasant, but doesn't live up to expectations. Might try a different flavor from Butler's, but probably don't need to get this again -- unless I'm in the mood for something other than honeycomb.
