Chocolate: Nestle Lion Bar

Nestle Lion Bar

Okay, not anything special to those across the pond, but exotic and unusual around here. ;-)

Where bought: Meijer's (which has a decent-ish selection of foreign foods)

Aroma: Standard chocolate bar, pleasantly appealing.

Texture: A thick bar covered in slightly brittle chocolate, crunchy on top, with very stiff caramel & nougat underneath. Satisfyingly chewy, but also a bit hard on the roof of my mouth. Not sure it wasn't just a little bit stale.

Taste: Good. Off-the-shelf rather than bespoke, if you will, but yummy enough.

Overall: Unfortunately it really was hard on the roof of my mouth. Glad I tried it, and I wouldn't say no if someone gave me another one, but probably not something I need to buy again.
