(no subject)
Its pretty slow at work today, so ...
I got Kerri a job at my travel agency, Cheap Air. Which is really awesome, might I add. We have the exact same schedule, we only have to use one car and she'll make a lot more money than being a server. And even when I'm in class she has the evenings to make art. I think it'll be a great situation. They agreed to hire her because she was obviously over-qualified and also because they thought it would be cool to have a (practically) married couple in the office. The best part: My boss told her to start ASAP so she put in her 2 weeks notice at Chili's. But then he realized that he was going to be out of town that week so he decided to have her start a week later but put her on paid vacation the first week. So awesome. Shows right up front how much integrity the company has. And money.
Anyway, the house is really coming together. Finally got a nice dining room set and soon we're getting our media table. The house is so warm and funky. Kerri and I are so happy with it. We're lucky to have the same tastes in most things. Too bad Chad is still with Laura. Things will be nice when it all falls apart. (Its in their best interests, they just don't realize.)
On another note: Bunnys are fun and adorable. And they love food.
Saw my brother Doug for the first time since March. He had just spent 17 hours climbing Mount Whitney and had a bad sunburn on his face from the reflection of the snow. But it was nice to see him and show him the house.
I'm very much looking forward to Foodsgiving. Enough said.
