Hello everyone
Just caught up on almost a week of entries - that was fun! What a busy week last week! The event I've been organising for the last few months was on Thursday (£300,000, approx $480,000 budget for 360 people), the 5* hotel was great and my room was amazing! The event went great and I got given some crystal champagne glasses as a thank you. Quite relieved it's over and went well as lots of important people in the company came. Was fun to have free unlimited drink and food too!
On Friday lunchtime I left the hotel just as my manager (who's on maternity leave) rang me to say well done and to tell me to go home and put my feet up, so I did. Had a very relaxing afternoon waitng for Rob to arrive after work. Made him a nice meal and had an early night. Mum came back from Dubai for a holiday on Saturday night so we met my sister at Heathrow to bring her home, is lovely to see her again! Staying with her tonight and back to London to see Rob tomorrow.
So all is ok here - now got lots of boring work to catch up on that I've neglected when doing the event. Boo. Can't believe it's almost December, then it's almost Christmas, haven't thought about pressies or xmas cards yet. Actually, now I've thought about cards I should get organised. My banquet book is packed somewhere in the whole moving house twice thing so here's what you ALL MUST do. If you don't I will not ever contact you again ;) You must send me an email to ercartwright@hotmail.com asap with your christmas postal address on (so no uni addresses if you're going to be somewhere else). Then I can send a festive card and spread christmas happiness! Ok?
