I realized I posted this on the CBLJ vs here, so pardon the repeat;

Oh my gosh....fabulous epilogue. Just when I got the hankering to check if you had posted it, my spidey sense told me it was up-and there it was.

Especially with the way season 5 is playing out, this story just fits so seamlessly. They're settling into this comfortable, but new kind of familiarity of one another's presence not just at the precinct, but at home. A wonderful juxtaposition of what was the once an awkward and annoying adjustment for Beckett to have Castle around all the time, to it being something she can't imagine any other way. Even longs for it......

The unabashed smiles we're getting this season are of a woman deeply in love and that's reflected in your story. And Castle, while he's been easier by far to read in terms of his love for Beckett, I love how the roles became reversed here; that after everything he's done for her (awakening her inner sense of joy and feelings of aliveness, the support, the coffee, the love etc.), she was there for him this time in a grand way. I think and hope that's what we will see on the show (and will need to to bring things full circle), but for now your story did an amazing job of predicating that part of their journey. It's so them; that reciprocation, the equanimity, the requited love, and the willingness to believe in and be there for each other.

Finishing it as they began, but as something more. Brava :)

Lol, no problem, I would have gotten the comment anyway, but still, thank you for reposting it here as well. :)

And wow, good 6th sense you got there@! :)

And yay, I love your thoughts on S5, cause I completely agree!:0) Especially THIS - The unabashed smiles we're getting this season are of a woman deeply in love.

Finishing it as they began, but as something more. Brava :) THANK YOU! You completely nailed it, what I wanted to accomplish with this story, what I wanted to tell. I am really glad it came across, the full circle thing.:)
