Oh, I am sorry to have disappointed you in not continuing the story right on, but there are some things that need to be said and explained first and since this an angsty story, we will get a lot of that in the future chapters. The thing is, this story is as much about getting there (to the point where beckett appears on castle's doorstep) as having the actual conversation as to where to go next.

So ill have to ask for patience here, I am afraid. Hope youll still enjoy the story though.

You are mean - seriously! Castle is still grireving and you're posting a flashback?! Just kidding :) Beatuiful chapter - I'm totally in love. The best part - Kate being aware of how much this is going to affect him. She is stuck with the impossible choice and she chooses wisely but... Her 15 minutes to pack up her life - great moment in the story, I just love it that books are taken with her. Amazing job - please update soon and put your readers (and hopefully Castle) out of misery :)

I know, I am supermean! And there will be even more of those flashbacks first, sorry.:) Yeah, I know, poor kate. sometimes, i cannot decide who has it worse, if her or him. but i will go with him in the end, poor baby. youll see in the next chapter that i am just about to post, the poor guy went through hell.

And of course she could never abandon her books! like, never!:D

Hope youll like the new update, although there is no putting out of misery happening anytime soon. this is an angsty story and will take quite a while to write. :) Already sorry in advance.

I know. but considering the last scene and what probably ensued, their night, she didnt tell him. and later, in the morning, she probably just thought that it was not suitable, that the moment wasnt right, just blurting it out like that, while drinking coffee in the morning. And then she went home and never returned. But dont worry, THIS will also be adressed in the future chapters.;)
