No snow day today, we did a get a 2 hour delay. So near and yet so far. I think I woke up, turned the TV on, saw my school name, said, "There is a God," rolled over and went back to sleep. I got 10 hours of sleep, which is nothing to sneeze at. Unless you're getting a cold ( Read more... )

Oh, they were just excited about the snow and the delayed day. Although... Everyone thinks this is ridiculous, but I often have really hard days with my class only to find out that it's the day of the full moon. It's hard to believe, I know. I wouldn't believe it myself, except that so often I don't realize that the day is a full moon until later. They really are raving lunatics; now I have proof.

Maybe they're werewolves!

Do they get hairy? Are their eyes yellow? Do they dance like Michael Jackson?

Only the third one. If we are ready to leave before the bell rings I put on music and they dance for candy. It's pretty funny. Even the self-conscious kids will dance for a lollipop. It's pretty easy to bribe a 10 year old.
