Close game
Wow! I just got back from Seattle for the rugby regionals, and the West Linn Renegades came in second! The final game was so close. I honestly had no idea who was going to win until the whistle blew. We were down 5-7, but we kept getting so close to scoring again that I had no idea what was going to happen. It was scary. But Kelsey Mahoney-Watson is my hero. She is so amazing. She made all these great tackles and when she got the ball she kept going! She's unstoppable! Ashley Powell is also wonderful. She caught almost every ball that the other team kicked and she can move! She is speedy! Amanda and Kayley are so cool! I love them too! Basically, I just love everybody on that team. They played so well, and next year we are going to beat Kent! I'm really going to miss Kate and Abby and Ashley, and Lee, and any other people that are leaving. And have I mentioned how much I love Kelsey? Because I do. She is my rugby idol. I look up to her and Kayley and Amanda. I'm so happy that they will be here next year, but I don't know what we are going to do when they graduate! Ahhh!
