(no subject)
so I took my lit final, and I'm optimistic about it. I had to write about this AWESOME play called "Trifles". In it these three guys, two detectives and one other guy, plus two of the guy's wives, went to this house so the police could investigate a murder that happened there - a guy got strangled while he was sleeping. The guys are being all manly and looking for evidence, and making fun of the women because they are concerned that the woman's canned fruit is going bad and she never finished the quilt she was making. And then while the men are upstairs doing "serious work" the women are going through the quilting stuff and they find a little bird whose neck had been broken. so they figure out that the woman had broken her husband's neck to avenge the death of her bird!!!! and then the women take the bird so nobody can find it and use it as evidence. it was awesome. i think it goes on my list of favorite plays.
and after that i ate grapefruit for lunch, which was delicious. i think i could probably live on grapefruit.
