- midterm grades are finally in, and they're sad :( no excuses, but i got behind in my schoolwork, especially thanks to 2 weeks of the common cold. maybe mom was right. "if you were healthy you would have happy life and study well"
+ MADAMA BUTTERFLY WAS AWESOME (@83&$*(u$*(je(#*1!! see, the show has been totally sold out for all performances this season, tickets were going for extortionate prices in what my econ book calls the "underground economy," but somehow i was able to get cheap tickets off someone on craigslist... met her sketchily a few days beforehand in front of gray's papaya on 72nd street and my life was forever transformed--EXCEPT!--the solo violinist messed up a note during "un bel di vedremo"... how heartbreaking and shameful!!
- still haven't learned to cook, which is a big drain on the bank account.
+ my mom is visiting this weekend!! hilarity ensues.
- writing in my livejournal because i can't concentrate on homework.
