teehee. i got my first paychecks today!
granted, it was very little money. the owner is very nice and understanding of soccer and school schedules [since it is a soccer store], so i've only actually worked like, 4-8 hours a week, or not at all some weeks, and i only get $6 an hour.
the important part is that i no longer have blanks under "work experience" when i apply for jobs. i also get a 30% discount on everything, and seeing as i myelf am a soccer player, it's very helpful.
technical job description: working the register, running errands, helping customers out, doing grunt work [such as inventory and labeling]
real job description: sitting around doing nothing, talking on the phone, playing x-box, watching tv, eating snacks, occasionally performing aforementioned tasks
on a not cool note, i can't bring myself to succeed in school anymore. i really am trying, but for the past few weeks, and this one especially, i've only seen my house between 8 pm [if i'm lucky] and 7 am. there's too much to do. weekends and weekdays are packed. i can't remember the last time i got good sleep and work done.
i failed the calc test today, i guess it serves me right for sleeping and not doing homework. i've designated russell as my tutor. i myself am tutoring for cas and nhs.
