A guy just called in to Anything You Ever Wanted to Know to ask how cool the sun gets during the winter. He followed this up by answering another caller's question about whether there's water on the sun by saying, "There probably is, it's just too bright to see it."
This trumps my previous favorite caller from a few months ago who said that he'd seen a video in the '70s that demonstrated how to turn lead into gold, and wanted to know why we weren't using that technology to cope with the financial crisis.
