Going to NYC
I'm going to New York City! I'm going to New York City! I'm ....Unemployed! and have dropped $900+ bucks in 2 days. shite.
walked out of job on sunday, during a rush after being scolded like a child by my boss, best as I can recall, it was for using the word "you" refering to him in the context of blame for how poorly the restaraunt was operating. twice. and i don't regret any of it! NO! ha! (fuck,fuck,fuckwhat am i gonna do?!?!?)
Proceeded to walk all the way from pike place to eastlake ave. caught bus to u-dist, got a happy hour bacon cheeseburger& pint at earls on the ave. well, now what, huh? The cost of this trip, plus rent,plus extra high winter utils may send me back to ricks after all.
I managed to get a super discounted flight, $294.75 round trip, plus I found a 20% discount code online for the hotel I'm staying at.(the band and Isaac and I will all be at the luxuriouse HOJO on Horton St. 2 Blocks from the venue the show will be at. Lower East Side baby! I'll try not to get mugged.)
I'm less nervouse then I thought I'd be, but ther is still that pit of stomach tenseness.
Isaac wants to spend sunday talking about my future with the label. I only have 3 more days to get my shit together. I hope he doesn't want to see my orginization skills. ehem. So, this will essentially be a business trip. I'll be getting recouped for my mailing costs thus far, and will ahve to live off of that money while I'm there.
But I'm a road warrior, I can handle anything.
I'm bloody indestructable!
