I saw the Harry Potter finale last week...(may contain spoilers)

Hello everybody,  I feel like I've been sequestered forever, but I love it when I complete a project in a wonderful way and I can come up for air.  Like catching up and going to see movies.

So.  Because I thought the first part of Deathly Hallows was brilliant, nothing less, I ran to check out the finale and was knocked out.  I was so impressed, I came back and started to do research on the films in relationship to JK Rowling.

(may contain light spoilers)

Bear in mind I haven't read the books.  But since the first film, I found myself watching the character of Snape.  Of course Alan Rickman is such fun to watch, but there was something about what he was doing that intrigued me and I liked him. When I mentioned this to a good friend who is a die hard 'Harry' fan she informed me straight away that Snape was not a good guy.  But no, I insisted that I liked what Rickman was doing and he continued to be my focus of interest.

This is why:

I found out that Rowling told Alan Rickman where the series was going so he could incorporate that information into his performance.  And by crackin' he did.  This vibration was always running through his performance.  Amazing and wonderful performance and writing too.

I gotta say, I felt the whole arc of Snape to be very satisfying and ultimately healing.  Anybody else impressed with this?
