Now I have been living in the north all my life and so winter is just another one of those things to do on the long life list and actually can be very beautiful, very magical, but hmm . . . I'm kinda glad I stumbled across a different way to winter.
It's called: calm with the palms.
Now, it can get chilly down here, but that's like 40 degrees and that is rare.
Odd, odd feeling . . . I know the snow is happening 'out there' and I know what it means and I feel for yous guys absolutely, but down here, doing the walkabout in a sweatshirt and sandles; the rest of the world doesn't feel real.
Odd feeling, this distant distance and not all like the lack of feeling, like the numbness of nose and toes that my norther brethren are 'not feeling'
Not at all the same . . .
But still . . .it's nice to have a little thing like that in common. You know. It's a stretch, but it something like empathy. (insert simley face)
love you guys, hope all is well in the chilly bits and not.
