No AC in Texas = sadface

So for the past week I have not had AC in my apt. It was an average of 93 degrees every time I stepped into it and every time it made me very sad. Although it is fixed now! I spent the last week on Afonso's and Dylan's couch, which is really nice considering that it folds out to be rather large and comfortable!

BIG THANKS TO ALFONSO AND DYLAN!! HUG.

Ok. unfortunately being out of my apt has made it rather difficult to keep up with my business, not to mention that I was sick for pretty much the first half of the week.

Explanation: I woke up on Tuesday morning with fever and having horrible heat flashes...which really was caused by the fact that I slept in a sauna the whole night. I didn't realize that my AC had been broken until I finally got out of bed around 11:45. Suddenly everything made sense.

On Thursday the ladies went out to celebrate Jeanna's 21st b-day, with a beautiful dinner at this place called WINK. What a great place. I strongly recommend it the next time you feel like having great food and have some cash to spend. The owner (who I gather was the man waiting on everyone hand and foot) was delightful. Really everyone there was so nice. But here's a funny story: So when we first got there, we were sat next to a table of about 8 middle-aged men. It's a small place, so when I say that we were next to them I mean RIGHT next to them. I was one of the closest to them and overheard them discussing our table of fine ladies for about 10 minutes. This was hilarious and their discussion went some thing like this, "Wow, how lucky to be sat next to such a large group of beautiful young ladies.--Yeah, but look at them they look so young.---they can't be that young....look they're buying wine---It must be a bridal shower or something--No, sorority function--etc. etc." I thought this was hilarious, and pretended not to hear them loudly talk about us. Right as they were about to leave I tried to think of a way to get them to pay for a bottle of champagne. You know, but right as this thought entered my head they paid the check and left.

Hmmm so I've done enough procrastinating...back to accounting for Ember Designs Inc.
