a great weekend
This weekend was quite enjoyable. I met up with some old friends of mine from delta sigma phi (the frat I was a sweetheart to back in the day) and enjoyed their company on Friday and Saturday. (More details on that later.) Friday started off with a shopping trip with Brandan, Shelley, and Blair to get 90’s clothes for a plan II party on Sat. It was fun as everyone in the car sang show tunes from the musical “Wicked” (which I can’t wait to see.) Then the roomies and some others went with UT gear to see “Man of the House” which was fantastically awful. It was especially good because it didn’t take itself seriously as a film. Then we all came home and eventually made it over to the house of guys where in 5 min. I ran into my old delta siggy’s and was swept away to riverside and eventually to my friend Regen’s apartment. Where I watched his roommates play beer pong and play halo ( boy did that evening make me miss the SLIMEY’S !)
Saturday, although it was rainy and cold, was most enjoyable because I spent it with the cute one watching America’s Top Model re-runs while doing laundry. Sat. night was exciting because I dressed up as what would later be called that night a “pearl jam fan” and eventually ended up at Regen’s again for another evening of halo and such. Which would be followed by the end of the night trip to BJ’s to see brett and adam c. BTW BJ I can’t wait to watch Twin Peaks! “Damn that’s a mighty fine cup of coffee!” Moving on…Sunday was spent cleaning the house, grocery shopping, and watching the Oscars (which by the way were extremely boring this year) at Brandan’s Sisters house.
On a happy note, Greg (see conversation below) is not the asshole he came off to be. As long as I don’t hang out with him while he’s drunk I think that our friendship will continue as it did before. The only down side to this weekend is that I’m watching showgirls on VH1 and it’s soooo bad. Oh cool she just kicked the shit out of that guy…hmm does that mean that she’s going to be a hooker again? wow
