Yes, I've posted this meme before, but pyoor_excuse gave me an N to play with:
1. No Doubt - one of my favourite bands. I've liked them since Just a Girl, and have all their albums, and love them all.
2. Naked Apes - a small band who I've seen a few times around the country. They're fun and have excellent songs like "Bumping into Stuff"
3. New York - Somewhere I hope to visit sometime soon. I have friends there and would just like to see it. One of the few places in America which actually appeals to me.
4. North - my mum's from the north of England, and I went to uni in the North. I always assumed i'd settle up there somewhere, until I realised all the jobs I wanted were in the south and there was nowhere in the North I actually want to live right now.
5. Net - the internet. How I've met many of my best, closest, friends.
6. Noodles - mmmmmmm, noodles! I only started eating them a few years ago, but I've definitely made up for it since.
7. Nog - puts the fun in eggnog, cos yo've got to admit, eggs aren't that funny, but eggnog is!
8. Nonsense - what nanna always used to tell me I spoke. She was probably right...
9. Nose - a useful part of my face, i find.
10. Nanna - mum's mum. Was an impressive lady - pretty much used to run the farm and B&B and keep track of all the 'menfolk'. Made good cherry coconut square things.
You'd think N was an easy letter, but it's really not.
And howlsthunder gave me an A:
1. allSTARS* - cheesy boy/girl band in the vein of s club and steps. Loved them, and their TV show!
2. Anggun - excellent singer I heard about through a friend of Lindsay. Reminds me of that year of uni.
3. Algebra - my favourite bit of maths. No, really!
4. Aylesbury - where I was born.
5. Administrator - my job, which I love.
6. Asleep - one of my favourite states to be in.
7. Abby Lockhart - My favourite character in ER. She's 'real' and loveable and believeable.
8. Alex Cabot / Abbie Carmichael / ADA - merged into one SVU based selection. They make the harrowing SVU storylines much easier on the eye...
9. Alyson Hannigan - Willow in Buffy. I'm a big fan, and saw her in the stage show of When Harry Met Sally too.
10. Aroma - my favorite smell has to be ironing... all warm and comforting.
Yes, some of them were cop outs, but they're not as easy as you think!
