Thursday was great ;)

Yesterday was my husband's birthday... I think he enjoyed it enough considering I was too sick to do much. Cold + allergies + medicine for both = dead wife.

Maura finally got her first tooth out (damn, that's sharp!)

She also got out of her crib by herself.

Yes, she managed to get out of her crib (the mattress was on the middle setting and the rail came a couple inches from her chin).
We didn't hear the railing move, and the bumper pad wasn't tied tight enough to give much leverage but we think she landed on the chair first, silently, then slid off onto the floor.

She was sitting on the floor in the middle of her room when Daddy ran in. She stopped crying right away and we checked her over for bumps but saw nothing and she didn't act hurt. In fact it seemed she was only mad she couldn't get up from where she landed. She can't quite stand up from sitting without some support yet.

But evidently she wanted to come find us. I'm sure she heard us talking when she awoke from her nap.

Well, now the mattress is on the lowest setting and there's no more bumper pad. The railing hits her mouth so now she can stand and chew on it easier. I'm wondering if we should put something on that will protect her and the wood both, or just wait and see if she prefers her chew toys.

Might be going to Erie tomorrow, though I hate going because of my allergies I now have a homeopathic remedy for animal dander that gets dripped under the tongue and can be taken every 3 hrs and I won't get drowsy. Why no one tries this is beyond me. Allergy shots work the same way-building up a tolerance gradually from small doses of allergens till you're able to tolerate them naturally.

My husband seems dead set on not sleeping much lately, and spending all those waking hours working on his program. Not that I mind much considering it COULD make us rich or at least more comfortable financially. I just wish my laptop wasn't acting like a retarded gerbil on heroin.

I seriously need to list things on Ebay again and to do that I need to use the PC downstairs because it has the camera software. Then again I could just list things I took pictures of already. Those are all uploaded and I'd just have to deal with typing up decent descriptions with my arms out all zombie-like thanks to the PS2 keyboard not being compatible with my latptop. Damnit. Yeah, it's sitting up on the desk, to the left and slightly behind his old monitor (I got him a newish one thanks to a LJ friend) so I have to reach pretty far and it's not being kind ty my back at all. I am using an old rocking chair too. Yeah, wonderful. And we're almost out of meds, with no cash to get more till payments come in that are owed us.
