Back home in Arcadia. It's so nice to be in a place where Christmas lights are everywhere, even after all they've been through.
Had dinner with the parents (mmm...fajitas), went over Christmas plans and then went over to Sarah's.
On the way there, I'm taken back by the fact that it's really freakin' dark in Arcadia and wow, I'm the only person on the road at 10 p.m. Such a weird feeling, after getting trained that 10 p.m. is really early and there are streetlights everywhere in Gainesville. Crazy.
Walked in to find Sarah and her absolutely adorable boyfriend, Tom, trying to make chocolate. Despite trying multiple methods to melt the chocolate, they gave up and we just dipped our strawberries in whipped cream and cocoa bean powder. lol. Still yummy!
Tom is breathtakingly cute, has most-definite darcy-like qualities (quiet but strong demeanor, good kitchen skills, cute couplishness with Sarah but not enough to make me say ew...) and is actually NICE! And STABLE! Sarah, you've found a winner, and I finally give my full endorsement. They've only been together a short time, but I could sense how close they are and I'm willing to bet they'll be together for a loooong time. Yay! I took pictures... shall post shortly.
