yaaaaaaaaay.
Went to Tampa today with my mom to meet my aunt and cousin to see the Bodies at MOSI (a second time for me). I thought it was busy last time, but booooy was I wrong. You could barely even walk this time there were so many people. We barely stayed an hour because it was so unpleasant. Oh well, it was still fun. We had lunch at TGIFridays (being Friday, afterall), and then said farewell.
Afterwards Mom and I briefly stopped at the Brandon mall to exchange something, then headed to Circuit City to see if they happened to have any iPods in stock. I didn't have my hopes up, figuring they'd all be sold out from Christmas. But, SURPRISE! They had 'em! So sitting in my sweaty little palms is Riley, my lovely little 30 GB new iPod video (in black). Now I'm actually glad my original iPod broke! Thanks to the warranty, I got a complete upgrade and still had money to buy a case and a new warranty with the gift certificate! Actually, I still have $5 left on the giftcard. Thank goodness my parents got the extended warranty!
I'm swooning over it like crazy. It's just so purty! And so much smaller than my big ol' chunky previous one. And it's in color! I bought my first video tonight. It took me two hours to download it on dialup. I purchased "Weapon of Choice" by Fatboy Slim. A classic, no doubt =).
