It's cool to randomly click a Yahoo! news bulletin about a Great White shark and realize that you've interviewed one of the shark experts used as a source for an AP story. I feel all accomplished =)
I interviewed George Burgess, UF's resident shark expert, for my story on Shark Week back in Reporting. Too bad the Alligator didn't publish it. Yarr! Oh well, still cool.
Oh, and it looks like I may officially be a journalism/anthropology double major after next week. That is, as long as my advisors in both departments approve me, which they really have no reason not to. It won't be taking me any extra semesters though, unless I have issues with registration at some point. But it'll be pretty nifty to end up with two degrees, and all for free!
