(no subject)
Short entry because I need to go to bed so that I don't have to nap on campus tomorrow...
1) Crazy weather once AGAIN thanks to Hurricane Rita. 11 a.m.: sunny and breezy. 11:30 a.m.: pouring. 2:30 pm.: sunny, humid, nasty. 4 p.m.: dark clouds of doom. Although I know I shouldn't make light of the hurricane because it looks like it's going to be awful wherever it ends up, at least Mother Nature has decided to take her fury out on states other than Florida this year. Knock on wood.
2) Saw the Aristocrats with Matt Mc. today. It was pretty funny, although if you can't take vulgar humor I wouldn't recommend it. The highlight was listening to Bob Saget curse like a sailor. Plus it was fun to be in a movie theater with only one other person. Afterwards I recommended it to Scafidi... I could see him telling that joke far too well.
3) Bought two Avenged Sevenfold CDs yesterday. I've had Waking the Fallen on my computer for a while, decided to finally shell out the cash. So far it's been worth it.
Also purchased David Gray's new CD, which is AMAZING! Seriously. I haven't even listened through it the whole way through and I think it might be my favorite of his albums. Although the intro of song #4 sounds freakishly like the beginning of a certain Fick song, it's my favorite thus far. I highly recommend it!
