Flashback:
So Devin left last night after shooting me multiple times (creating even more welts from the bbs) and having a couple drinks. 'Twas good times. He hugged everyone goodbye, and then went to bed.
Today I woke up and went to Barnie's with Dustin. We hadn't hung out in a while, so we had some serious catching up to do. When we returned to lakeside, we popped in the Dawson's Creek series finale DVD.
Deidra emerged from her cave to come watch it with us. The three of us bawled (and Dustin had only watched like two DC episodes prior to that) and I was all confused because the DVD has the FULL episode. Instead of putting "extended scenes" as special features on the DVD, they just put the episode as it was originally edited. I loved it SO much more, except for the Andie part. It was nice to see her again, but I never really liked her character.
The best addition was the montage at the end of the episode. Woot for closure that I didn't get with the episode that was shown on the WB!
Later, I went to Maude's for the big/little get together for phi sig. Met some new Xi class members and I think I've found who I want as my little. We shall see.
As it turns out, watching Dawson's Creek must work like a bat signal... Ray signed on tonight for the first time in forever. I teased him, using the first sentence of this paragraph as a joke. He replied: "Yep, that was it!" lol. It's funny. Back in the day, Ray was my Dawson. Now, he's more like Pacey. Actually, personality wise, he's always been Pacey. He graduated high school (thank goodness), but hasn't quite made it to college yet. He's working his ass off at a restaurant (go figure) and basically being bored out of his mind back at home. Oh man, I will always miss our friendship.
Ray: right before i turn 20
Ray: jeezus that sounds old
Liz: omg, Ray.
Liz: how the hell are we already thinking about turning 20?
Ray: no shit
Ray: it makes me wanna cry
Ray: liz ive gotta number for ya....
Ray: 12!
Ray: id give anything to go back
Liz: me too.
Liz: seriously.
Liz: ack, you're making me want to cry
Ray: although i must admit i have gotten much sexier, lol
Liz: LMAO
Liz: come on... the chubby cheeks and the crazy curls were DEAD sexy ;-)
Ah, good times. He'll always be my buddy =). Turns out he was talking about me last night to one of his friends... told her our whole story. Awwww =). I want to talk to him on the phone. Maybe I'll call him later this week. Our conversations are always entertaining.. heh.
Bedtime though, methinks.
