I just read through the entire Hurricane Charley edition paper. It's thrown me back into my emotional funk from last summer, and I don't like it. I want to watch the three-hour special they're playing tonight, but I'm afraid to. With life more or less finally returning to normal around here, living in denial of what happened is almost better.

where would you move to?

yea the fact that we're on I already is freaky

I want to move somewhere further north on the east coast, possibly North Carolina. I don't plan on staying there for life, I want to live in a couple different places. I know NC still gets hurricanes occasionally, but it'd be nice not to be a sitting duck anymore.

Oh, and I was reading through my old journals, and we definitely already had a Hurricane Irene when I was 15. They're recycling names!

that's sad about the names...there are SO many out there..i'm SURE they could come up with more..hehe
