repeating the reporting mantra: this sucks

Jul 25, 2005 01:04

I swear, something always seems to go wrong right before my Macro tests. My internet was down from 5 p.m. until 1 a.m. I had wireless connection that I was jacking from someone else in the building, but that signal was only strong enough for me to chat... not to watch lectures.

So I only have three more to watch, so I'm not really worried but... I realized that there are a whoppin' 569 practice questions to memorize.

I find this unfair on many levels. 1) There were only five lectures prior to this test and the lectures didn't cover nearly the amount of material that are in the practice questions. But instead of just dropping those questions, he's leaving them as fair game. I think it's really unfair to expect us to understand a subject matter enough to answer questions about it when he never even TAUGHT it. 2) This is the fourth test. He KNOWS this is the test that matters to people. So he put hardly anything on the third test, and shoved it all on the fourth to even better screw us over. 3) He said there probably won't be a curve on this test at all. Great.

Suddenly the 50 I need to get in order to get a C isn't looking as easy as I thought. *sigh* 569 questions!!!! Sheesh.

One of my stories for INsite is also due tomorrow. I may have to ask for an extention. Gah.

THIS WEEK SUCKS. A LOT.

P.S. Attempted to call Ray today, finally, to find that their phone is unplugged. This means that his mom probably moved, and now I have no way of finding him. This makes me very, very sad.
