So I woke up this morning feeling pretty nasty... my head was all congested and my stomach started hurting like crazy. This was the worst possible timing ever, given that I had lab and needed to finish some actual reporting before I went to lab.

It didn't happen. The pain was soooo bad. All I wanted to do was curl into a ball and never leave. I e-mailed Foley to let him know about my condition, but caught the bus and went to class anyway. There is NOTHING, I repeat, NOTHING worse than having stomach pains and being in the humid Florida heat.

Made it to lab, checked my e-mail and found that Foley wrote back and said I didn't have to come. *sigh* When he walked in, he talked to me about it and we agreed that it would be best if I just took the AP style quiz, turned in my outside assignment (which isn't great now, without the other interview) and went home. He joked that I did look a little green, and then apologized because "I'm sure the AP style quiz isn't making your stomach any better." lol. So I sat through the pain and got a B on the last style quiz (woot), got my grades from last week (one was an 88, one was a 68. ouch) and then left.

On the way home, the pain started to subside. I have no idea what it was, but it was awful. I'm almost back to normal now (knock on wood), some four hours later. Oh, and just to settle any rumors (as I've already had two people ask me this): No, there is no way this is any sort of 'morning sickness'.

Didn't matter how much pain I was in though, I wasn't going to miss my chance to see...
