(no subject)
Couple things from the banquet I forgot:
1) When Sulzman finally called our row of tables to eat, he said: "And the last row of blue tables can go get food, except for Liz." I of course went anyway, so when I got to his part of the line where he was serving tea, he said: "Hey, I said everyone but you!" To which I replied: "And when have I ever listened to you?!?" Haha.
2) Amanda Adcock was there. Yeah, I was shocked too! We chatted for a bit afterwards... she's getting divorced and is about to head to Iraq. Just a whole fun barrel of monkeys there. She looked good though and it was good to see her since I definitely hadn't seen her since we graduated.
I'm back in Gainesville. The town is absolutely DESERTED and it's so nice to drive around. Glorious, glorious empty streets and so much parking. *choir of angels sing from the heavens*
