(no subject)
Tonight was the last alumni event for Allison and I as co-chairs. We had a local-alumni dinner at Gators Dockside... it was about half "new" alumni (aka, brothers that became alumni at last night's banquet), half "old" alumni, as well as about an equal number of current brothers. Good times and food, which ended with Big Buck Huntin'.
I asked pretty much everyone I know if they wanted to go see Jurassic Park tonight at the Retro Movie Festival, and no one could/wanted to. I'm really starting to wonder if there's something wrong with me this week... I mean, I know I'm still sick, but do people really not want to be around me? (that's rhetorical... no smart ass comments please).
So then I sent out an e-mail to the brotherhood to see if anyone wants to go with me tomorrow night. Let's see if my second attempt to get some of the brotherhood to come out for something non-alcoholic works. I'm going tomorrow night no matter what, but I think I might cry if I have to go alone. lol. It's time like this that make me miss being in a relationship. It's nice to have someone that will always go with you, or always come support you. Regardless of how good of friends you are with someone, it doesn't work like that (well, except maybe for Sarah and I).
Other things that have been happening: "Lil' bro" Devin got accepted to UF afterall. His dad drove up to Gainesville tonight and I think I'm helping him look for apartments for Devin tomorrow. Devin's subleasing from Dalia for Summer B (yay!) and may end up taking Owen's room for fall/spring, but that depends on what we can work out tomorrow I guess.
I also found out that Owen is staying for parts of summer. Which means it will just be Owen and I for most of May, then it'll just be me for most of June, then it will be me, Owen AND Devin for July/August. I bet you can guess how I feel about that.
Grades: So far three A's, two I don't knows.
