I registered for classes today. Still very discouraged at the fact that journalism classes are so damn hard to get into. I'm starting to get worried about how I'm going to take all of these before graduating... I'm going to submit a class request form to the college tomorrow I believe. I need to take at least one of those core classes in the Fall ( Read more... )

angelfalling & I took Lost Tribes the fall before last. It's okay, but not the most exciting thing in the world. Basically all he talks about is 'diffusion' & how none of those interesting myths are true. Makes me sad. Atlantis is real, dammit! We just haven't found it yet!

Who was your instructor?

That makes me sad a little bit, but I still think it'll be better than the Glory of Greece thing.

Moseley has been the only one to teach it so far. I think Candi liked it a bit more than I did, I was expecting more interesting lectures. But the reading is pretty good, & we watch a lot of videos (2hrs of lecture & 1hr of videos per week).

Yay for videos! Well my friend signed up for it with me, so hopefully we'll be able to write notes and keep each other entertained if it gets boring.

Considering that this will be my second time taking Microeconomics, chances are good that help will most definitely be needed. LOL

What section of JOU4004 are you taking? I think I might be taking it in fall as well if the planets and other class times align.

Also I know a classics major (Kathy) who took Glory that was Greece. I think she said it's a lot of reading and some memorizing dead guys' names. Or maybe that was the Granduer of Rome class. Or maybe it doesn't matter. I'll ask her next time I see her.

I'm taking the MWF 6th period section, whatever that may be.

If so, then you'll probably do really well in the class considering that i have basically already taken it once =). lol
