they look so happy! i bet puppy would have enjoyed the water and the rings almost as much as spike and squish.

They are. Same like Puppy is - and I love seeing videos of him with his grin and his glorious flaggy tail.

Isn't it fabulous, miraculous, to be able to do something as simple as buy a cheap rubber toy and walk a quarter-mile to the park and generate that much happy?

I like how Spike keeps picking the toy up and putting it down closer.

I had to teach him that; his natural inclination is to retrieve things and stop ten feet away so I have to walk forward to pick them up again. But I am very very lazy and I don't have ten foot arms so I refuse to throw the toy until he brings it in reach. He learned that one VERY fast.

Also, I actually caught the shark action on film that time, did you see?

But Squish is used to this, and he learned the hard way not to argue with Spike about who gets to be King Of All The Toys. So he might grumble, but he's philosophical... and he knows there'll always be a spare.

i think thats one of my favorite things about puppy is his happiness. its contagious. you cant look at him and all his happy and not smile.
