(no subject)
My laptop is once again forbidding me access to the internet at home- hence my quietness recently.
The wedding last weekend was wonderful. I can't wait to get some pictures because the bride was so beautiful. It was great to see my family again- even if they are all mischievous beer monsters!
I have had a very busy/tiring week with work. Christmas drinks on Tuesday night followed by community centre decorating on Wednesday (which I am still finding paint from).
So I was quite dopey Wednesday night when I turned up to gaming to find that my GM was not coming! Ah well. So myself and the other gal from my group sat in on another game which I proceeded to annoy/disrupt (would you believe they were investigating a murder and hadn't checked for prints/video cameras/ or taken blood samples! Shocking).
Still, the group were cool and I got to chat to some random guys in the bar afterward whilst I was waiting for my taxi home (I had considered fink but was way too tired by then)- and found someone who had also grown up in Derby (and then wisely run away to Sheffield).
Random exiting news: Simon's coming tomorrow!! After almost two weeks of no sexy gentlemen friend I'm kinda looking forward to seeing him again ;)
