I don't know what it is about geeks that brings out the sadist in me
Over 50 gamers in one room!
It was good fun last night. I've joined in a Serenity game, which has a really simple system to it so was pretty easy to pick up. I play a kick ass killer type bent on retribution and repentance- but don't tell the crew that.
I even had my own little adventure getting there- which sounds far more amusing out loud than read off a screen.
I forgot to ask where the dove n rainbow is or if the monthly goth night is any good (if it's still running)- as all internet references seem rather old. Though at the moment I seem to be too busy or tired to ever go out- maybe when I'm more settled in. I'd like to check out the monthly when Simon comes along- clubs are far more fun when you've got someone to drag home with you afterward ;)
