Claimer: Mostly mine. But shared with SuperSpecialAwesome!Lori.
Authors Note: I wrote this forever ago, and only just realized that it's as finished as it's going to get. The extra scene still amsues me.

“Mr. Jones and me~!”

“Exasperated sigh…” Terrence buried his face in his hand, while Adam continued to sing. Loudly-and off key. But the guitar was good. Of course the guitar was good, this was Adam he was talking-or was it thinking? -about. He had always wanted to be a rock star, so his parents had let him take guitar lessons. Which he had to pay for himself. Of course, those days were over, but he still had his hair in that ridiculous mullet style and refused to change it. It made Terrence twitch, and he hoped (knew) it wouldn’t be more than a week before he finally could get him to go see a barber. What was he saying (thinking!)? Oh yes. The guitar…

Adam flung an arm around his friend’s shoulders and continued singing. Terrence sighed again, and looked longingly towards the fridge, where there was beer. A wonderful, alcoholic substance that would be able to dull the pain that was frequently caused by Adam’s singing. Because Adam couldn’t sing. Good with a guitar, though. But couldn’t sing.

…If only he could reach the fridge.

And the little extra scene that I couldn't perfect beyond here, because this is perfect.

[Chris and Parker come in at some stage, somehow]

“Parker, go save your father!”

“But I hate him!”

“But he’s in pain!”

“I don’t wanna. And I’m not gonna!”

“But he’s in pain! Such pain! I can feel it! From here!”

“It’s just Adam singing.”

“Oh dear lord! All the more reason for you to save him!”

“What did I just say?”

“Once he’s done with your dad, he’s gonna come to us!”

[Insert running and panicking]

Twitch. Sigh. “Alright…”

[Insert rescue]

[Insert beer]
