Interesting day today.

We had an outside photographer come in and take some real photos ;) for the magazine. They brought all that expensive equipment that we don't have and can't afford--slaves, soft boxes, reflectors, and a very nice $6000 digital camera. My boss let me tag along to watch everything, which was really neat. It was a learning experience to a certain degree. I will be interested in seeing the final results.

The funniest thing is that these guys were from the Worcester area, and it turns out the photographer knows my old photo professor and hangs out with him and stuff. Weird.

That was the morning. The afternoon was spent (me) shooting the thesis conference. Very exciting stuff. Also very wet. I didn't bring my umbrella with me and parked my car far, far away so I had to walk over to it in the pouring rain. By the time I got there I was soaked. Then going back to my office I got soaked again. I'm happy to be dry now.

I developed another roll of film tonight, one of the Maine rolls. I have one more roll to develop at the moment. I may do it tomorrow but probably not, because I'm guessing that Alex will want to watch something. I will probably not do it Thursday either because I will be making dinner and then the sink will be filled with dirty dishes that won't get cleaned for three days because it's Alex's job to wash them (I make dinner, he washes up after...sometimes. Usually it takes him a couple of days to get around to it). Anyway I was happy because it looks like this roll came out ok too, so now I'll have to get it scanned or something and post more photos. I do think I'll wait until I have the third roll developed before getting anything scanned though.

I'm glad that tomorrow is Wednesday, even though the weather sucks. Three more days...
