(no subject)
Well I guess it's time for an update. Winter break is flying by and I am one of the lucky ones that has school off until Jan 20th! hip hip horaay. ;) I have definitely been enjoying my time off.
I had so much fun at Jason's New years party. It was just so good to see all you guys. I really miss you all when I don't see you. Yeah I know it's my fault cuz I got myself into another relationship and boyfriends tend to demand a lot of attention and time.
So much has happened in the past few weeks I don't know where to begin. My mom is almost done with her new book (for those of you that don't know my mom owns her own publishing company and puts out a couple books a year on scrapbooking, crafty stuff, etc.) Her major account is Michael's craftstore. She's going out of town to hand deliver the book later this week. My poor mother has been so stressed lately. Both of my mom's parents died recently, within two days of each other in fact! It was the strangest thing...I wasn't close to those grandparents at all so this is mostly just affecting my mom and it's hard to watch her go through such a hardship. So that is one reason I've been so reclusive from my friends. I try to help out around the house as much as I can making dinner and dishes and all of that (to give my mom time to deal)...Plus I've been helping her a lot with her book because she's been working extremely long hours trying to get it all finished before her deadline.
So I spend most of my afternoons doing stuff like that, and I try to hit up the gym occassionally. I spend time with Matt whenever he's not working, which isn't very often.
Oh btw for those of you that don't know, it was so funny...Christmas came and went and the ipod still hadn't come in the mail. Finally like 3 days later it arrived and he was at my house when fedex dropped it off. He took one look at it and was like what the hell is it?? lol. I wanted to give it to him with all his music already downloaded on it and make it a little more special than just opening a cardboard box...Anyways I told him to be completely honest with me and tell me if he liked it and would use it. All my hard work on finding a good christmas present for him and when the time came he didn't like it :( Or at least he told me he wouldn't use it. So I'm selling it on ebay, and I'm going to help him get a bedliner for his new truck instead. A 2004 Toyota tundra, it is soo sweet looking. I think if I wasn't driving an SUV I'd want to drive a truck. heh.
He got me a new lizard cage for christmas! it's huuuuuuuge! Like the size of two coffins. ha. I put siren in the new one and morpheus is still in the old one. I think she's still adjusting because she hasn't been eating lately.
I had lunch with the girls, Morgan and Lindsey today. It was so good to see them and I realized I miss them a lot more than I thought I did. I mean they are really good friends and it's nice that we can just catch up right where we left off when we see each other. Oh and props to Morgan for keeping and maintaining a boyfriend. hehe. I never thought she'd settle down. ;)
Well I hope all you Orlando guys are settling down and back into the swing of things with school and such...I miss you all!!
