yay it's finally coming out in July!!!! Wow whatever Dakota did to improve it sure as hell is working.

this is another I'll be seeing. I enjoyed the book but one thing that's a downer is how big a part the Alex Rover hero has. I don't recall him being involved in the story all that much and the neat thing about Jodie's character was she broke out of her shell all alone. But I guess it makes a bit more sense to have an imaginary entity be the one who cracks open her shell otherwise people would be confused going 'uhm...so she was afraid to leave her house and she suddenly decided that this particular day she was going to go out" Abbie is awesome and she gets to do stunts and fight a pirate. And Gerard is cool. And Jodie Foster is a hot lesbian. Not a butch lesbian like Rosie O Donnell. Poor Abbie thought it sounds like she's been going through the voice change of puberty in the movie.
and it reminds me of the retro kiddie adventure fantasy movies. And Abbie's going to be badass in My Sister's Keeper. And so will Saoirse in Lovely Bones(I read both of those back to back and now they're making movies of them to be released in the same year!)
